Do You Really Want To Get Well? (John 5:1-5)

DEEPSEATED AND LINGERING DISORDERS!

What are they? Let's look!

Rejection, anger, unforgiveness, hatred, jealousy, envey, vengence, these are some of the deep seated and lingering disorders many suffer with. Crippling? Yes! They will damage and cripple every relationship you have......friends, family, and marriages.

These particular kinds of lingering disorders not only hurt you, they are very hurtful to others all around you......they will destroy your friendships, your family, your marriages! Does God hold us accountable to change these things within us? YES! We are accountable to make whatever changes needed within us to live in peace.

We are instructed in God's word to "judge ourselves" least we be judged. In other words, God is saying to us all, "look, I have made the way for you to have healing in your minds, emotions, body and souls. It is already available to you thru my Son, now it is up to you to work out your own salvation by judging yourselves and making changes with the help of the "helper" I have given you, because all things are possible to those who believe".

In essence God is telling us, "no more excuses" what you need has already been provided and the word "can't " isn't in my BOOK . In MY BOOK , I have told you "you can do all things in My Son, Jesus Christ", so stop telling Me you can't or it is too hard. Read My Word, you will see how hard it was for My Son to go to the cross in your place....and He did it out of love for you ...to give all these things to you......so how hard can it be for you? Harsh words? Not really. Jesus asked the man at the pool the same questions.

Do you really want to get well?

The revelation here is that, if we really want get well, WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Waiting by the pool just don't make it! Expecting others to be understanding with your hurtful behaviors is costing you and them relationships that could be glorifing Jesus Christ in you.

PROVISION HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS! THERE IS NO NEED TO BE LYING BY THE POOL WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP YOU!

There is NO deep or lingering disorder in you that Jesus can not reach and heal. There is no healing pool needed except the 'healing waters' of Jesus Christ Himself. There is no need to "wait" for someone to come to help you into the pool. Jesus has already come and brought all you need with Him!

Do You Really Want to Get Well?

The medicine and cure is found in His Word, the healing touch is found in Jesus Christ, but the determination and desire must be found in YOU!
