Who Threw You Into The Pit?
Stacey Lunsford
Who threw you into the pit?
What did you learn from your pit experience?
Where were you at (in your walk with God), when you were thrown into the pit?
Why did they throw you into the pit?
How did you respond to being thrown into the pit?
How did being thrown into the pit affect you, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually?
Did being thrown into the pit affect your relationship with God? If so, why?
Did being thrown into the pit, move you closer to God? If so, why?
Did being thrown into the pit, move you away from God? If so, why?
Are you angry with God, the person or people that threw you into the pit?
Are you holding a grudge towards God, the person or people that threw you into the pit?
Are you walking in unforgiveness, bitterness or resentment because of what happened to you?
Did your pit experience strengthen or weaken you?
Who took you out of the pit?
When you heard their footsteps above your head, did you get excited?
Did you start rejoicing? If so, why?
As they lifted you out of the pit, did you feel relieved?
How did you feel when they sold you into slavery?
They may have sold you, BUT GOD SENT YOU!
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!
Working as a slave in Potiphar’s house, my service was unto the Lord.
Working a temporary assignment with a vision and a dream inside of me,
I was used, abused and falsely accused
I was thrown into prison for refusing to choose to sin.
Faithful, I was faithful but Potiphar was deceived, blinded by lies, he couldn’t believe
Wounded, betrayed and acting out of his hurt, Potiphar threw me into prison
In prison, I interpreted a dream or two and asked the baker and the butler to remember me but they forgot me too!
BUT GOD SENT ME and HE allowed the gifts to make room for me!
You may be out of the pit physically but are you still in the pit, emotionally?
