Exodus 22:18, Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live
Before I go on, if you have ever gone to a physic, a spiritualist (a vivid reader of horoscopes), a fortune teller, a soothsayer, a witch, warlock or witchdoctor you need to renounce, (give up claim: to give up formally a claim, title, position, or right) and here you need to remember what you did, who you did it with, repent and return to God. That means turning completely away from what you were doing, who you were doing it with and severing all relationships with those individuals, spirits, etc.
Matthew 18:18, Father according to Your Word in Matthew 18:18, We bind the spirit of divination, haughtiness and we loose the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gifts according to 1 Corinthians 12:9-12 and a spirit of humility according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, a broken and a contrite heart according to Psalm 51:17 in Jesus name!
The Danger Of Refusing/Rejecting God’s Word
Joshua 6:16-18, And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. 17And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 18And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
Accursed is to be under a curse, to be doomed. A curse is a prayer for harm to befall someone or something; to call or speak evil about or down on someone.
- What are you touching that you shouldn’t be touching?
- What are you saying that you shouldn’t be saying?
- What are you praying that you shouldn’t be praying?
- Why are you stealing things that don’t belong to you?
Read Joshua 7:10-18, Achin's rebellion in touching the accursed thing caused his entire family to die!
Numbers 16 – Korah secretly conspired against Moses and Aaron because he wanted more than what he had, more than he deserved and he put his mouth on God’s chosen, anointed and appointed leaders. As a result 14,700 people died, the 250 leaders that followed Korah in this uprising against God’s established authority.
1 Samuel 15:11-22, Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 12Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 13O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. 14He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. 15Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; 16Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; 17And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, 18Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; 19When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. 20And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; 21He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, 22Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Genesis 20:1-7 Abimelech received God’s word, repented, didn't touch Sarah, gave her back to her husband, (Abraham God's Prophet) and saved his family from death
Numbers 16: Korah rejected God’s word and as a result of his rebellion, Numbers 16:20-35 records the pitfall of the conspiracy that Korah devised against Moses that was ultimately against God.
1 Samuel 15:23, (KJV), For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
It’s decision time, who will you follow, Moses or Korah?
Obedience is better than sacrifice, one = life the other = death
